A really pretty basket from the mid 1930s, detailed with green bands to the top and bottom. The turned rim to the top is particularly lovely. This would look gorgeous with fresh flowers as a display, or for bits and bobs in the bathroom, or garden room. There is a circular handle missing to one end, and a couple of split canes, but it is still very solid and piece worth owning!
