You will love this pretty vintage ladies handkerchief. Gorgeous sprays of purple violets, and dainty lily of the valley flowers frame the hankie. Each little spray is tied with a lavender / purple bow and flowing ribbons which all tie together. The deep scalloped edge is trimmed with a purple hand rolled hem. In Victorian times violets stood for faithfulness and lily of the valley for purity and return to happiness, making this a perfect wedding day handkerchief. A beauty for any hankies collector. Handkerchief measures about 15" square and is in very nice vintage condition with no damage.

Eleven inch square hankie has a blue stitched scalloped hemline. The main corner features a spray of the delicate blue violets with smaller sprigs in the remaining corners. Hankie still wears 2 original labels. One says simply Made in Switzerland. The Swiss are known for their exquisite quality handkerchiefs. The second is gold and reads: Hamilton The Mark of Quality. A beautiful, "something old", or "something blue" for any bride to be. Perfect addition to any hankies collection.

Lovely vintage handkerchief in PINK. The beautiful large violet bouquets lay against a field of pink. The pink center has a rather spatter effect to it. Small single violets are scattered in the center. The four corners have large bouquets and the middle along the sides have a smaller version. Vintage hankie has a rounded scalloped edge and a hand rolled hemline. hankie measures about 14" square. Nice gently used vintage condition. Fabric is soft colors are still vibrant. Pretty addition to a shabby chic or romantic cottage decor.
