This top is quite stunning and unique. The feathers around the neckline and gorgeous back are fabulous!
This is so neat and unusual! Dates to the late 70s early 80s, by Lee Sands, Hawaii. Usually we see Lee Sands pieces done in eel, this is an extremely unusual piece. Brown leather backing on the belt. All the way around it is covered in pheasant feathers, with a peacock look. Front tap (pieces cross over) done in gold metal and leather strips. Colors and style are really eye-catching. It is adjustable, sliding at the back to fasten to a smaller or larger hole. At the smallest point it will fit about a 26" waist, at the largest 33". You could add more holes if you wished. In fact, the two front holes that are already there are a tad too big for the fastener so it slips out, and you will need to add additional holes there so it will be secure. It's in really great shape with just a touch of wear to the front gold piece. Talk about unusual - we've never seen another like it.
