But there are benefits to a vibrating mascara, and Lancôme’s first foray into the field is a good one. Like something out of a sci-fi movie, press the button to activate 7,000 oscillations per minute - this helps to wrap every lash with a full round of color, and actually less smudging than a regular brush. (Which is the part that surprised me.)

I think it is a very good drugstore mascara. It definitely lengthens my lashes beyond what I thought was even possible. The directions advise to avoid letting the layers dry between coats and this is key to get the longest length possible. There have been times when I got so carried away with the results that I just applied more and more until things got ridiculous. Here are some pictures of a more restrained application.
