Paul Smith is taking his bespoke tailoring to the US | Vogue.com SUITS YOU PAUL SMITH is taking his bespoke tailoring service, which is usually exclusive to his London boutique on Westbourne Grove, Stateside. From May 5 to 8 only, the most stylish men - and women - in New York will be heading to the Paul Smith store on SoHo's Greene Street for fittings with the house's bespoke manager and the London tailor, who are being flown over to the US especially. Second fittings will take place in September, with the suits arriving roughly two weeks later. "We are bringing bespoke to the US through demand from American clients, who can't always find the time in their busy schedules to come to Europe, and because although there is a very good custom service in America, a lot of our clients enjoy the Britishnes of our suits," Smith tells us. Daniel Day-Lewis knows the score; he won some serious fashion kudos at The Screen Actors Guild Awards in January, when he wore Paul Smith bespoke to accept his Best Actor honour.
