In Victorian times lavender roses signified Love at First Sight. This vintage hankie has beautiful purple and lavender shaded roses around the border with teeny buds at the scallops edge. The very center has a white on white honeycomb pattern framed by a garland of little bellflowers. Beyond that there is a sponged or stippled lavender color with small trios of the bellflowers in purple and white. Lots of details on one hankie! Handkerchief fabric is crisp and the hankie measures about 13" square. Pretty gift for a dear friend.

Dainty double strand glass beaded stretch headband. Crocheted with pink and gray velvet yarn and sparkling Czech glass beads. 18 inches around, stretches to 21.

Purple and black sparkling soft case with ornate silver button. Crafted with cotton/mohair and velvet lavender yarn. Wonderful as a small clutch or pouch. 8 x 5 inches.

Large vintage ladies hankie with a contemporary look. Possible from the 1960’s or 1970’s. Hankie is overall a pale pale pink color. Main corner has large floral arrangement with pink, red, white, lavender, and white flowers. I see daisies, a rose, a lily, maybe the small white flowers are jasmine. There are green leaves and ferns. The opposite corner has a smaller version of the arrangement. Hankie measures about 15.5" square and has a scalloped edge. Very nice gently used condition, no damage at all.

Estate sale purchase, two pretty vintage embroidered guest towels. I guess there was no Mr. in this household, one towel is a "Mrs." pretty soft green linen towel with a stitched scalloped edge. The Mrs. monogram is done in a fancy script font and has embroidered flowers and leaves as accents. Mrs. Guest towel measures about 12" x 19". The second towel is a lavender linen with white embroidered flowers and white trim on the scalloped edge. Measures about 14" x 22". Both towels in very nice vintage condition. Sweet vintage linen ladies handkerchief. Someone has lovingly added a small tatted lace trim in verigated lavender thread. The corner has the most delicate teeny pettipoint flowers done in lavender, pink amd yellow with green leaves. ee close up for small details. Vintage hankie measures about 11" square, and is in wonderful vintage condition with no damage.
