In Victorian times lavender roses signified Love at First Sight. This vintage hankie has beautiful purple and lavender shaded roses around the border with teeny buds at the scallops edge. The very center has a white on white honeycomb pattern framed by a garland of little bellflowers. Beyond that there is a sponged or stippled lavender color with small trios of the bellflowers in purple and white. Lots of details on one hankie!
