What an exquisite pair of co-ordinating ladies embroidered handkerchiefs. Beautiful sheer batiste cotton from Switzerland. The Swiss are known for their quality embroidery work and ladies handkerchiefs. The hankies both have a delicate drawnwork hemline. One hankie features delicate pink shaded rosebuds and tiny bluebelle and daisy flowers. The second has a smaller pink & burgundy rose with, buds, blue forget me nots, and what look to be tiny bleeding heart flowers. Gold Labels read Swiss made ALL cotton. Pristine unused vintage ladies handkerchief has just beautiful embroidery work. Daintiest spray of daisies, teeny blue forget me nots, and delicate pink and white lily of the valley flowers is tied with yellow ribbons. On either side of the spray is a smaller version with the sweet little lily of the valley floating towards the center of the handkerchief. Really precious! Much prettier than photos show, you will be pleased. This all cotton hankie was made in Switzerland for the Celebritees Handkerchief company and still retains original labels.

This is the most gorgeous ladies handkerchief with lovely intricate details. Perfect yellow roses are appliqued with the most delicate embroidered flowers and leaves as accent. The roses are appliqued in 2 shade of yellow. There is one deep golden yellow rosebud. The embroidered and reverse embroidered tiny flowers are 2 shades of pink, pale blue, lavender & light purple. Some of the leaves are appliqued while others have a teeny touch of cutwork in them. Most exquisite details!

WOW, I had a terrible time trying to photograph this vintage mourning handkerchief. It is really a neat design & prettier than photos show! The black hankie has a border of small white embroidered flowers. There is an over-all shadow print of flowers (hard to photograph) The hankie has a scalloped hemline trimmed in white and measures about 11" square. In days gone by a lady was never without her handkerchief in her purse or pocket. Since some of the more elaborate or colorful hankies were not appropriate for all occasions, hence was the creation of the mourning hankie. They are quite popular with today’s collectors. Vintage hankie only one available.

Hard to find initial Y monogrammed ladies handkerchief! Beautiful monogrammed initial Y handkerchief is just so graceful and dainty. The pretty hankie is all white, with an ivory initial and blue accents. The delicate cameo framing the letter Y has white French dots and blue reverse embroidery which finishes with a bow at the bottom. There are tiny seedwork embroidery flowers on either side of the monogram Y. Hankie is pristine white and measures about 12" square.
