California golden poppies against a field of blue. I used to live near the California State Poppy Reserves and there is nothing quite as beautiful as fields and hillsides of the wild poppies. Stunning blooming poppies take up the entire center of the hankie, leaving about a 2" border of sky blue. The vintage hankie has a white hand rolled hem. Lovely vintage linen kitchen towel features some of California’s beautiful missions. Depicted are 7 missions including San Juan Capistrano, home to the returning swallows, and the gorgeous Santa Barbara Mission. Linen towel appears to be unused and. was screenprinted by the Kay Dee Company. The artists signature is R. Batchelder. Towel measures about 16" x 27". Nice addition to any collection. Just look at the great colors and graphics on this bright vintage CALIFORNIA STATE TABLECLOTH. This is an authentic vintage cloth, NOT a reproduction. The colors are wonderful, in teal green, red, and yellow. If it appears more blue on your screen, it is actually more of a green color. Cloth is bordered in white, then the center is framed with bright red. California is written in two opposite corners. There is a fun smiling sun in the very center and two maps of the state.
