Butterscotch colour leather with gold beads...cool.

This is such a neat color! Ruth Saltz did a lot of high-end handbags for Nordstrom's (and other companies) in the early 80s. This piece is done in ultra soft and supple ostrich, in a butterscotch color. It's a clutch style, large envelope flap closure. Inside is lined in the signature Saltz lining, and there is her signature gold key zipper pull. Back side has a zippered pocket running the top of the bag. It's a nice large size, measuring 13" x 7 3/4". Some wear to corners, a bit of cracking (not all the way through, just a thin top layer) on top near snap, and a few light scratches. Pen marks on reverse. Slightly dirty on corners. A bit of cleaning and restoration and this will be one killer piece (it's actually great as is).
