Blue Blue, my love is blue! Lovely vintage ladies handkerchief has beautiful blue and white pansy flowers. There is a three inch wide border of the flowers with rows of single blue pansies in the center. In Victorian times flowers had a language of their own. Pansies stood for love, or the recipient is being thought about. The flower’s name comes from the French word pensée, which means thought or remembrance. Sweet gift for a loved friend! Could be "something blue" for a bride to be.
Gorgeous vintage ladies monogrammed handkerchief in mint condition with original label attached. Beautiful monogram initial K is embroidered in all four corners. Main corner features a large K in an oval of swirls. Below K are 3 pink flowers and French dots with smaller K. The remaining three corners have the smaller version of embroidery. Hankie measures about 14" square and would be beautiful for a bride to be that loves PINK! Original label reads: Hand Made in Madeira. Madeira hankies are the most sought after by collectors. Pristine white.
