The body of the sweater is lined with a silky white fabric ~ Sleeves are unlined. The embroidered areas are lined with sheer white voile for stability. Darling vintage late 50s/early 60s dress, by Betty Hartford. Navy blue accented with white stitching. Wonderful collar and button closures - they appear to be one straight hole, however, they are two seperate holes for each. Metal buttons. Comes with original belt and has some marvelous pleats. No size tag. Super nice condition! Just a touch of wear to the buttons, no biggie. It's very thin and lightweight, like a cotton blend, perhaps with silk or rayon. As you can see from the pics above, you unbutton the buttons and inside at the waist are a couple of snaps to close. Too cute - a definite sailor feel to it.
