Sensuously-tactile, chestnut-brown suede skirt by Ann Klein. In the 70's, Klein's name meant sophistication and beautiful tailoring -- as this garment demonstrates. Probably an early Donna Karan piece. Made from a thick, supple, leather hide -- rough-textured outside, smooth and polished inside. With a wide-elastic hidden waistband that pulls the waist-fabric in finger-wide gathers, large, lined belt-loops, hidden front pockets (still sewn together like new), and a wide decorative band round the hem.
