From YSL, made in Italy, done in a bronzy-gold metallic, and might we add...never worn! What a find. These are, we believe, very late 60s to early 70s, right when shoe makers started with metallics. There is beautiful stitching on the toes and along the edge. About a 2 1/4" heel. Leather inside and out, even the soles of course. Extremely well-made, and incredibly enough, never worn. They even have the original price tag of $24.99 (can you imagine, YSL's for that price today, you really have to add a 4 to the start of that price!). They are marked a 9M and we think that is about right on the money, perhaps might even work for an 8 1/2. The measure 11" from the back of the heel to the tip of the toe (of course adjust for toe box) and 3" across the widest part of the sole. They are in absolutely lovely condition. Interior is red. We do not have the original box, but will send these along in a 1950s Thomas Cort. Ltd pink and black shoebox, a collector's piece in itself. Gorgeous!
