Fabulous vintage heavyweight silk satin party dress, believed to be a 20's or 30's cigarette girl or showgirl costume. To clarify, this dress is *very vintage*! It fastens up the back with hooks and eyes which suggests it was made before the 30's. The fabric is real silk satin, not acetate. And it's super cute!! I love the pom pons on the bodice, and the skirt is black on the outside but is lined in giant reverse polka-dots on the inside! I don't know its exact history so I cannot date it with certainty, but feel free to email if you have any questions or concerns.
