A beautiful vintage suit...the label says Susan Barry made in England...size 18 waist 30" a real clue to its age...classic vintage sizing so a 12-14 by todays sizing. There is no indication of what the garment is made from...but it is like woven wool type fabric but light not heavy. The weave is very pretty made up of moss green , azure blue , coral pink, and peach diamond shapes. It has a classic top under the jacket which is made from a thick jersey type fabric and is sleeveless a zipper at the back and two darts at the bust for a more flattering tailored fit. The jacket has pink covered buttons.. The skirt has an an elastic waistband sits on the waist with no puckering.it is a straight skirt but not tight enough to be a pencil skirt (at least not on my model). the measurements are SKIRT waist 30 " hips 38" length 25" JACKET bust36" shoulder to cuff 23" shoulder to shoulder 17" TOP bust 36" lenghth 21

The colors of the suit are blue, orange, white, pink and green in a wonderful spider mum print with scattered leaves. The suit is made of 77% acetate, 12% nylon and 11% spandex. The suit cups are rubber with fabric covering them and the elastic is in excellent condition. The suit also has a modesty panel in the front. The straps feature 2 fabric covered buttons on each strap for adjustment of the length. The suit is lined in the gusset of the panty.
