Dress is ruched at shoulders, V neckline...center seam of bodice comes to point where 2 sashes come out of shirring and pull upward to cradle the waist, tying in back to add some va-va-voom to your exit! There is little to say about this dress that isn't said by the pictures.....a simple dress made oh-so stunning with a little attention to detail in all the right places! Vintage 50's Lord & Taylor Fifth Avenue HOT PINK Party dress. Bombshell sleeveless dress is a gorgeous shade of Schiaparelli pink. Self fabric covered rolled double shoulder straps with the same rolled edge at the waistband. Waistband is pleated to give the skirt extra fullness. Lined in black pellon. Back metal zipper with single hook and eye closure at scoop neckline. a Couple of single snap halves were removed from the back waistband, this may have had a bow at one time but is is no longer there. Dress is in excellent vintage condition. No fiber or size content tags. Fabric has a heavier slick feel like a matte satin. Dress is shown over a crinoline which is not included in the auction.
