This is a beautiful handmade one of a kind, upcycled, altered, cotton tee shirt. It is made from a blue grey tee shirt restyled and embellished with red rose appliques, loads of hand stitching, and hand made, beaded florets in slate grey rayon. The tee shirt has been re cut to make figure flattering princess seams, and a lace up back closure. The back of the tee shirt, laces up corset style with ribbon through metal eyelets, making the sizing slightly more adjustable. The outside edges of the garment are finished with hand sewn running stitches
This is a beautiful, backless, handmade, one of a kind, corset style, top made from vintage and recycled materials. This top has figure flattering princess cut seams in the front and ties to close in the back. All of the lace in this top is vintage lace, gleaned from several sources. The rayon was a factory second and the distressed, soft silky blue taffeta, was vintage from a flea market find. the lace used as a base for the front is from a vintage cotton lace curtain and has been dyed a pale teal blue. Beads and sequins have been added around the ruffled black lace neckline for just a little sparkle. This top looks great casual with jeans, or dressed up with a great flowing or fitted skirt.
This skirt is a one of a kind deconstructed piece, the yoke of this skirt is from a pair of vintage 1980's, Gloria Vanderbilt,cotton blue velvet, jeans, and four crocheted cotton, rectangular doilies. The top skirt is from a vintage 70's cotton crocheted mini-dress and it has an under skirt which was salvaged from a vintage, girls, cotton gauze, dress to which a crinkled taffeta ruffle with raw edges, has been added for that great layered bohemian look.. The original pants zipper is still in use as the front closure and a decorative lace up application has been added to the back yoke. The watch pocket has been appliquéd with a sequined flower patch in deep royal blue (hard to see in the pictures), in order to cover the swan monogram that is Gloria Vanderbilt's insignia. All of the original pants pockets are still usable, as the crocheted rectangles were sewn on by hand with sturdy quilting thread,or tacked on with vintage buttons in the back. According to the garment tags this is a size 10 (1980's sizes)
This is a sweet little shabby style, girls "baby doll" dress made from fancy vintage, cotton "linens", lace placemats, and cutwork embroidered table napkins, the bodice band and straps are made from a vintage slip case. The skirt pieces are set on point and cut on the bias to create a beautiful drape, and flow for the handkerchief hem. This dress would be so cute over a longer "petticoat" skirt, or over bloomers, pants, or leggings. This is a beautiful vintage 1940's lined blouse, made of soft, lingerie type nylon, and embellished with art deco style front yokes, and loads of pintucks in front, and on the sheer sleeves, front closure features a "kimono" collar and self fabric covered buttons, it also features a sheer peplum waist line. This blouse is in excellent condition having no visible flaws. Garment Measurements: Bust measures 38-40 inches Waistline measures 28-32 inches Shoulder to hem line measures 22 inches
This is the cutest little bubble suit ever, made of natural flax colored, lightweight linen and cotton, and embellished with white rick rack. This little romper is made by "Cacharel" a French clothing company which is well known for their classic details and quality boutique designs. This piece is in good condition having a small "rust" stain on the front, and a shoulder strap button missing(shoulder straps have two buttons each). The crotch closes with buttons.Leg openings are elasticized (loosely). Size Tag reads "12 months"
This is a cute little blue, cotton velvet, sailor's suit style, romper, from the 1950s or early 60's. This piece has adorable details with satin pinstripes on collar and sleeves, an embroidered anchor emblem, and a front zipper with a little bib flap at the neckline. There are two little buttons on the shoulders to hold on a bib(for eating), the crotch closes with snaps,and leg openings are half elasticized (loosely), This piece is in excellent condition no rips stains tears of holes. There are no size tags in this garment if you are interested please feel free to convo me for measurements, but my best estimate is 4-6 months.
This is a beautiful one of a kind hand made patchwork skirt, made of vintage, re-purposed fabrics. The skirt has a lovely handkerchief hemline, that flows beautifully, as all squares are set on point, making it a bias cut skirt, it features vintage silks, satins, laces, cotton, rayon, voile, and taffetas, salvaged from leftovers and vintage clothing. The waistline is a drawstring and elastic combination for comfort and fit, all seams are reinforced with zig zag stitch finishing for durability. This skirt can be worn, with ties in the back or front, by almost any size (thin to curvy!!).
This is a beautiful loose fitting vintage cut-lace embroidery blouse from the 1980's made of soft periwinkle blue rayon. This blouse has long tapered raglan sleeves, a loosely elasticized/smocked waistline, a loose "boat neck" neckline in the front, and a v-neckline in the back. The front of the blouse, and the sleeves, is all embroidered cut-lace and the back is embroidered cut-lace around the neckline.
