PRETTY IN PINK vintage ladies handkerchief. This lovely hankie has a pink border and pink center with a white area between. The center is framed by beautiful blooming blue and white flowers. A simply fabulous vintage ladies monogrammed S handkerchief. This one is truly a beauty with reverse embroidered lily of the valley flowers. The initial S is monogrammed in a simple script design. The flowers flow around the monogram and there is a ribbon around one stem of the lily of the valley flowers. The reverse embroidery is done on the back side of the handkerchief to give it the soft muted shading. Quite lovely. The coloring is what I would call a bronze color, a bit darker than a taupe. Pretty unused vintage ladies embroidered handkerchief. This lovely hankie from Switzerland features embroidery of fall leaves in shades of red, brown and green. Adorable vintage childs handkerchief from Christmas Day 1924. Lovely linen fabric hankie features the nursery rhyme Simple Simon Met a Pieman. The words to the rhyme are written below darling graphics of small children and the pieman. Just look at the cute expressions on the kids faces and those darling outfits! Too Cute! The hankie measures about 10.5" square and has a pink polka dot border. Sweet antique handkerchief appears to be unused. There is a name signed in upper right corner. Vintage 1950’s Little Golden Book child’s handkerchief featuring "This Little Pig Went to Market" from the classic childrens nursery rhyme. Handkerchief has Mr. Piggie riding his bike with basket full of fruits, veggies and bread. There is a house and lampost in the background and a little piggie and chickens at his feet. The nursey rhyme is written in black around the edge. The hankie is bordered with a teal green color. Marked A Golden Book Design by Aurelius Battaglia. Oh So Pretty vintage ladies print handkerchief. This hankie has a lovely green center with bunches of pink freesia flowers in the corners. In-between along the sides are smaller sprays of dainty white lily of the valley flowers. In Victorian times freesia stood for innocence and thoughtfulness, while lily of the valley represented purity and return to happiness. This vintage hankie is in gently used condition.
