Very elaborate design on this beautiful vintage monogrammed G ladies handkerchief. This hankie was part of the estate of a former handkerchief salesman. It is in pristine unused condition. The fancy monogrammed G has white French dots along the center. There are three appliqued light blue flowers and leaves accented also with the white French dots. The hankie measures about 15’ square and is scalloped in the monogrammed corner. Fine cotton or linen fabric. Pristine white. Perfect "something old" or "something blue" for any bride to be. A simply fabulous vintage ladies monogrammed S handkerchief. This one is truly a beauty with reverse embroidered lily of the valley flowers. The initial S is monogrammed in a simple script design. The flowers flow around the monogram and there is a ribbon around one stem of the lily of the valley flowers. The reverse embroidery is done on the back side of the handkerchief to give it the soft muted shading. Quite lovely. The coloring is what I would call a bronze color, a bit darker than a taupe.
