This is an adorable mod pink and white gingham safari style shirt or micro mini dress (on a petite frame)with blue alligator logo. David Crystal owned Lacoste and used the alligator emblem on some his dresses. Elasticized waist gold framed shell buttons, mod wing collar and slanted side pockets at hips. This dress/top is in excellent vintage.

It has a wide set-in waist area with back string ties. The sweetheart bust is framed in satin trim and the cups are backed with nylon, the outer area is pink chiffon. It is knee length with a belled nylon skirt. The shoulder straps are double bands of pink satin. The condition is MINT...no issues to report. It is labeled Artemis, size 38. Please check the measurements below carefully. The bust is an easy 40 inches, waist is 32 inches, hips are 46 inches +, and total length is 43 inches.

Offered for sale is this darling vintage late 1950's to early 1960's pink wool suit by Tailorbrooke. The fabric is a wool tweed done in two shades of pink, lavender and cream. The solide pink blouse is a rayon blend, dry clean only. The skirt is pencil style with a waist band and a side button and zipper. It is completely lined. The solid pink blouse has peplum, round neck and sleeveless. It buttons up the back. The jacket is short, peter pan collar, front buttons and long sleeves. On each side is embellished with a modified belt and decorative buttons. Also is a small pleat on each side.

The shirred midriff and ribbon tails are made of taffeta. There is a blue net petticoat attached to the skirt. This gorgeous gown appears to be homemade but is exquisitely crafted. It has a Talon Nylon zipper which would date it in the mid 60's, but the styling is earlier.........it's possible it was made in the mid 60's from an earlier pattern. I just don't know. I do know that it is in excellent condition with no rips or tears or stains and even the little thread loops for the hooks over the zipper are intact. Measurements for bust, waist and hip are taken with garment laying flat and then doubled. Sleeve length is measured from center back of collar to hem of sleeve. Truly a work of art from designer Rudi Gernreich, a man before his time. This suit date to the mid 50's. Gorgeous sheath style pink wool swimsuit was featured on the cover of Colliers magazine on June 8, 1956. We have a copy of the magazine and are including it along with this swimsuit in the sale. This suit can also be seen here in the retrospective of Rudi's work that was held at the 2001 Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania. Vintage mid 50's Rudi Gernreich for Westwood Coral Pink wool swimsuit bathing suit. Sheath style scoop neck button front suit is made from wool. The gusset is lined. Elasticized leg openings. The label has been clipped, but the magazine article and the on line retrospective shows that this is clearly a Gernreich swimsuit. There looks to be a very small repair at the back of one of the leg openings, and a stitch which may be needed at the shoulder, otherwise this suit is in excellent condition.

1950s Adorable, Flirty pink chiffon party dress. Spaghetti straps and gathered at the bust and waist. Features unique threaded design detail in front and back of bodice. Metal zipper down the back. Full circle skirt,one layer of tulle and another of lining underneath. Would look cute worn with a crinoline also. A few snags on skirt and two small holes. A couple of pin holes on side of bust from where previous owner tacked it down. None of which affect the outward appearance of the dress. Freshly drycleaned. Still in great vintage condition.
