The oriental styling speaks of comfort. The boxy jacket can be worn straight or with it's self fabric belt. Yep, it really still has it's belt, a rarity I know. It boasts 4 colorful red and white frog closures down the placket . There are 2 patch pockets on either side of front in the chest area. The loose fitting pants are also wonderfully wearable with an elastic waist and full legs that measure 25" around from top to bottom. The "single needle" embroidery on the jacket is glorious. The exotic theme of birds and flowers is executed in reds, pinks, 2 shades of green, white and a touch of yellow. There is a narrow decorative band of red trim on front of pants at the waist, the hem of both sleeves and pant legs. White trim is used on either side of the placket.

This is one of my favorites when it comes to capes. The color mix is unusual orange, cranberry, tan, black and flecks of blue which gives the garment a very smart and crisp look. This particular style of cape has no slits for arms, is fully lined in tan acetate, 5 large black buttons down the front and a very cute rounded Peter Pan collar. The yolk measures 9" deep.

Fuel your passion for vintage designer fashion! This fabulous 1960's dress is from couture designer Eva Rosencrans for Ben Reig. Are you seeing spots? We are and fabulous ones at that! We first thought this was a light weight coat and then decided that it's a dress in the coat dress style. But we have shown that it can be both! It's done in a satiny textured criss-cross waffle weave in an acetate of deep black with white polka-dots. This is a true wrap dress features a wide notched shawl collar, full length cuffed sleeves and full gathered skirt. Fitted bodice has nipped in waist. There are pockets hidden in the side seams. This garment is fully lined except for the sleeves with a silky black fabric. The only closures on the dress are two metal hook and eye sets at the waist. The belts and other accessoires shown are not included. Some images show this worn as a light coat over a black sheath dress. The black dress is NOT included. Eva Rosencrans designed for Ben Reig starting in 1961 and was known for her elegant, simple, luxurious (and expensive) designs. Bears the 63-74 Union tag.
