i don't usually like forever21 bags, but this particular one caught my eye. i love the unique lines and the hardware.

i have been looking for this bag ALL SUMMER. well, not this exact one -- i was looking for the burgundy/purpleish one -- but i've finally discovered the designer's name, piero guidi, meaning i am one step closer to acquiring one of his "magic circus" bags. the burgundy/purpleish version would be ideal: seasonless, not stuffy at all, roomy, versatile, and unique -- no monogrammed louis vuitton or coach bags for me!

the patent leather adds some edge to the traditional herringbone tweed...nice.
