#DV-381- Pale Blue Bust Shelf Dress w/Jacket Era - 1950s Measurements - Dress is 39 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 25-1/2 waist, 34 hips. Jacket is 19 inches long, 15-1/2 shoulders, 17-1/2 sleeves, 34 inch bust, 30 inch waist Label - MAM'SELLE by Betty Carol Fabric - shatung Fantastic! Pale blue dress and jacket set. The dress is sewn and styled so nicely with a curved seam under the bust and darts on the bust giving it a very shaped look to the bust itself. There is no seam at the waist, but there are 4 vertical darts in the waist area for shaping. The back has a mid scop with curved seam and more vertical darts for more shaping. Dress has metal back zipper and thin cottony lining. The jacket is nicely tailored with low front and collar and satin bow on the neckline. There are satin colored buttons and bound button holes. 3/4 length sleeves and thin shoulder pads. Faux pocket flaps. thin lining. Condition - The dress is in excellent condition, no flaws seen. The outside of the jacket is excellent with just the faintiest-faint aging to the satin on the buttons. The LINING of the jacket has discolor on the inside of the shoulders for some reason - maybe the hanger it used to hang on. Ther is no other discolor in the lining, underarms are fine, just the lining in the shoulders

Vintage 40's era long tails black wool tuxedo jacket. handsome jacket has a faille lapel with notched collar. One button is missing off the front. Fully lined in a black shiny acetate. Front waist has a double V shape. Single chest pocket with single interior pocket. label reads After Six by Rudofker. No size tags, please go by measurements given. Two buttons at back waist above the tail section. 3 buttons at each sleeve ending. Jacket is in excellent vintage condition.
