One of the cutest crop jackets we’ve ever seen, by the designer who created the leather label Pelle Pelle. It’s a feminized biker jacket with a crop waist, zip front, buckle back, and a line of ruffle up the sleeves. Ruffle and snap neck, zip side pockets. Fully lined with black acetate/nylon.

Definitely a head-turner! Black dress with a beaded sweetheart bustline and a sheer panel up to the beaded choker neck that creates a halter look. The trumpet skirt is poly chiffon over acetate, and definitely meant for dancing. Structured cups for easy, bra-free wearing. Center back hidden zipper.

Absolutely stunning cocktail dress that’s built of sheer black floral jacquard over shimmering dark olive green sharkskin taffeta. Bodice is strapless taffeta underneath, with boning structure, covered by the 1/2 sleeve sheer floral top. Pouffy pleated tulip skirt has a black underlayer of organdy crinoline, one layer of the green taffeta, and a top layer of the sheer black faced with the green taffeta. Metal Talon zipper in back that’s covered by the obi style bow. Made in California by Lou Rose, Santa Barbara.

Black evening bag with Art Deco clasp. Tiny faceted hematite, jet and green glass stones on silver create the snap clasp top. Pleated silk velvet rounded body with a glove loop on the back. Lined with taupe faille, and there’s a snap pouch inside.

My absolute favorite vintage dress ever!! I’ve never seen a “plain cotton” day dress as nicely made as this, or with such fine design details. Early 60s lightweight woven cotton dress with all-over hand-sewn pintucking. On the skirt portion, the pintucking begins narrow and vertical at the gathered center waist, then as it drops toward the hem it angles outward around the hips to form perfectly matched chevron diagonal tucks at the center back seam. The front bodice of the dress has a raised waistband and even pintucking that rises to a pointed crest at the bust. Gathered bustline fans outward with rows of black lace. The back of the bodice has the pintucking starting narrow at the waist and widening to the shoulders, also alternating with strips of lace. And a stroke of genius – the lace strips in back and in front to the bustline have the black cotton cut away to reveal the skin and allow the cotton to act its own lining! The back is fastened with a center back zipper and hooks, and punctuated with three cotton bows. Also included is a satin snap belt, with the perfect bow to top off those center front pleats. The label reads “Carlye” and whoever she is, we raise our glass to her fantastic design
