margaret george is an amazing author. i first read her epic novel, "memoirs of cleopatra," and when my sister bought me "helen of troy," i couldn't wait to start it. once i did, i couldn't put it down. the fact that the story of troy may be entirely fictional, makes this work seem all the more impressive, as it seems as though george is working off the annals of actual historical accounts. loved it.
