Hsien-Hsien lives in London. She moved there from Vietnam late last year. Before that, she spent five years in Japan, and before that, Taiwan. Originally? San Francisco. She chronicles her adventures as a globe-hopping businesswoman, blogger, and mom at CottonTimer.com.
Currently, she’s working at B5Media, where she writes blogs on genetics, heart disease, and children’s toys. She first found out about StyleFeeder from Top 10 Sources, where she maintains three more websites– once again, on genetics, heart disease, and stuff for kids.
When she’s not working, Hsien-Hsien tries to get to museums around London, and hopes to see at least some of Europe this fall. She does most of her shopping online, and finds that StyleFeeder makes it more easier to share– and comparison shop.
“Aside from taking care of my family,” Lei says, “my mission in life is to empower patients with good information to make some of the most important decisions of their life. The trouble is that most people are overwhelmed by the tremendous amount of data out there so if everyone can define a niche in which they’re an expert and share what they know, it would be a collective effort to improve everyone’s lives and health. That’s the true power of blogs and citizen journalism.”
“StyleFeeder works in much the same way. I have friends who are passionate about books, bags/purses, shoes, etc. Since they’re always looking around for these things, if they used StyleFeeder, it would become a collection of their interests and knowledge. StyleFeeds can help them do what they’re already doing - filtering everything they see and organizing what they think is the coolest to share.”
