Description

'Groenland' is one of the most exquisite tulip varieties you'll find. This dramatic flower boasts blooms of creamy violet-pink punctuated by a soft green stripe that runs down the center of each petal! Its unique coloration is very eye-catching but subtle enough to be appealing to those gardeners looking for a tulip that's perfectly content acting as an accent, rather than always being the center of attention. This, coupled with its extremely long-lasting blooms and sturdy stems make it perfect for cutflower arrangements and border displays.Plant 'Groenland' in full sun, placing the bulbs about 5 inches apart. They will reach a flowering height of 14 to 18 inches. For the best effect, plant bulbs in clusters of 5 to 15 of one variety, or scatter clusters of bulbs throughout the garden or border. Tulips perform best in well-drained soil. Zones 3-8.
