Gotta love the ladies of Sin City. Not only are they living the dream of living the 24/7 derby lifestyle, but they really are trying to get OGs and clueless n00bs alike into the best quality equipment possible. The reccomend these pads, and I believe them. After switching from some crap-ass pads from a big box store to the Rector Protectors, I thought the sky had opened and angels were singing. I hear the Fat Boys are even better, so they're next on my list. A word of caution:these are meant for wiry little skater boys, so the kneepads run small, whereas the wristguards run big. No word on the elbow pads: I want those, too.

I have been browsing online and in local stores recently and noticed a new trend: the fold-over or “bell bottom” boot. They come in many lengths and styles: The Buckle Fold-Over Ankle Bootie: The Mid-Calf Zip-Up Boot: The To-The-Knee Western Bell Bottom Boot: The Back Zip To-The-Knee Wedge Fold-Over Boots: Personally, I am loving theses “to-the-knee” styles and would lo...
