Short and sharp with a precision point, the 3" knife is ideal for carving edible garnishes, from fluted mushroom caps to radish roses; also great for seeding zucchini and pitting small fruits such as apricots. The 4" blade is ideal for scraping carrots, trimming artichokes, or cutting broccoli and cauliflower into florets. Four Star is a great introduction to the world of forged German cutlery. The blade is high-carbon stainless steel, and Henckels' unique ice-hardening process and advanced metal-alloy technology keep the edge sharper longer, with a consistent angle and superb corrosion-resistance. The handle is molded of unbreakable polypropylene, with an ergonomic shape that ensures a solid, comfortable grip. It is permanently bonded to the blade tang for superior balance and durability. Dishwasher safe, but hand-washing is recommended. Made in Solingen, Germany.
