Christian Bjorn has been a key figure on the Danish design scene since the end of the 1970s, and today he is credited having established industrial design as an independent profession in Denmark. Bjorn's Lighthouse series for Menu, Christian has wowed people worldwide since its launch. After a few months on the market, it was awarded two of the most well-known design prizes in the world: the Red Dot Award and the IF Industrial Design Award. Designer Christian Bjørn has created the highly functional Stackable Oven Dish that can be stacked inside and outside the oven. The openings on the sides allow warmth in the oven to circulate freely and to thereby heat food in all the dishes at once. The dishes are available in three sizes. Each size fits inside another dish of the same size - but you can also mix the three sizes. Two medium sized dishes fit on top of the largest, and two of the smaller ones fit on top of the mediums, so that each dish or ingredient is heated separately. The dishes are fitted with four heat-resistant silicone legs at each corner, so that you can take them directly out of the oven and set them onto the tabletop - without using trivets. Two dishes can also be stacked on top of one another and tealight candles can be placed in the bottom one to keep food hot. Crafted of porcelain that was fired at 1,370 ºC, ensuring strength, durability and an easy-to-clean surface. That makes buying accessories difficult. I always want the latest "It" bag or shoes (who doesn't?), but I absolutely do not have the budget to buy ...
