Developed for pipe and park riders, the ThirtyTwo STW Boa combines a moderate amount of flex with an adjustable fit that is ideal for riders who like to make the most of every hour on the mountain. The Sole Tech Level 1 Fit system liner features triple-density Soft Touch Ultralon foam that enhances both the cushion and the insulating performance. Along the outside of the liner is a full-length lacing system that helps you lock in the heel hold exactly the way you like it. After you adjust the laces, use the integrated Lace Lock to set the fit and you're done until you're ready to call it a day. This season ThirtyTwo redesigned the STW Boa with a new rubber outsole that features an internal EVA cushioning for impact absorption after big air jumps. We like the outsole tread because it's contoured for better traction, especially when compared to flat skate-style snowboard boots. Up front on the STW you'll find a Boa Lacing System dial that allows you to make incremental fit adjustments until everything feels just right.
