AFC Clean Entry Rooms

Dust and dirt on the clothes of the operator and others entering the spray booth often become a major source of contamination in the spray booth. The Custom Aire AIRLOCK CLEAN ENTRY ROOM provides an entry room that acts as a buffer zone for decontamination of personnel. When entering the booth from outside, the entry room is held at a positive pressure. The operator switches the room from positive to negative after the door is closed to remove contamination. The entry room stays negative while the operator enters the spray booth. The process is reversed in order to leave the spray booth. By this process, the entry room always assures an airflow OUT of the booth. STOP and GO lights signal the proper entry sequence to the person entering or leaving the booth. In addition, if an optional air line is installed, personnel in the AIRLOCK entry room are able to blow dust and dirt from their uniforms before entry into the booth.
