Description

When we say our newest astro flashlight is "self powered," we mean it is powered by your own bad self! The RedBeam SP has a small hand crank that, when wound, charges an internal rechargeable battery. There's no need for any other batteries, ever! Just 1 minute of winding cranks out up to 1 hour of red LED light! Red light preserves your dark-adapted night vision while you read star charts or check your equipment. Choose from two brightness settings, which illuminate three or all five red LEDs. The RedBeam SP can also be charged from a USB port (USB charge cable included). It can even power a cell phone in an emergency (five popular cell phone adapters are included). Get the astronomy flashlight that never needs additional batteries!

User comments & reviews

red light doesn't affect night vision as much as white light, so this is ideal when doing astronomy

  • Colored tights: How bold will you go?

Colored tights are suddenly stylish again--and I'm scared to death. My comfort zone lies distinctly in the realm of grays, blacks and the occasional--gasp--blue. I envy girls who pull off red and bright cobalt tights. I'm working up the nerve, but sometimes I still feel like a clown when I wear them. For a style blog I started with my sister, I posted a picture in these teal DKNY tights: (Abov...

You can add sweeteners or sugar, thickeners, salt and flavors with ground soybeans and cook it till it becomes milk ready to cool and drink. However, this process can take more of your time than just by simply using a soy milk maker, which is popular nowadays. With this machin...
