smell: cherry, juicy, alcohol, hint of earth, violets, dried flowers, beef tenderloin; taste: juicy, acidy, some tannin, some body, alcohol, smoke; nicely made; very nicely balanced; no harsh "edges" except high alcohol; excellent w/ salami; food friendly; very nice wine, but I've had better in this price range
