Pernille Vea is an industrial designer MDD. She graduated from the Danish Design School in 1996 with a specialty in furniture and appliances. Her designs have won countless prizes and prestigious awards all over the world, and her talent for creating innovative designs has made her one of Scandinavia's most successful upcoming designers. According to Vea, her designs spring from the natural world: Â I have moved from very geometric design to more asymmetrical shapes, inspired by nature. Previously, it was largely about designing things from the kitchen and the dining table for taking out into the garden. Now the trend has reversed: importing shapes from the great outdoors into the garden." The 2 in 1 Galerie Vase by Pernille Vea was inspired by the shape of a perfect rose. The two pieces, an inner and an outer vase, can be used separately or one inside the other. The look of the vase changes according to the angle at which you set the pieces. The clever design allows unlimited opportunity to let your imagination go and decorate the vase according to the season and the reason and play with the effects of water at different levels.
