Mod Mom founder, Kiersten Hathcock, is a stay-at-home mom turned self-taught furniture designer & builder. After leaving the corporate world in 2003, to spend more time with her kids, Kiersten rekindled a passion for woodworking. Her father, a self-taught carpenter and woodworker, built most of her family's furniture growing up, and she learned from tinkering around in his garage workshop.
