Description

When skiers and snowboarders lovingly refer to their "Sorels" it's almost a sure thing that they are talking about their Sorel Caribou snow boots. That's because this popular and proven snow boot remains a winter cornerstone throughout decades of tough use--and the originals still keep a steady footing around day lodges and chalets. Beneath the waterproof nubuck upper and soft acrylic/wool snow cuff on the Sorel Caribou is a removable 9-mm. ThermoPlus felt inner boot that's rated to -40F, the sort of warmth you need from the first flake to the last melting slop. Sorel recently refined the outsole with an Aerotrac natural rubber sole (it will mark light floors) but all the durability remains the same.

Then I encountered temperatures below 50 degrees and this thing called snow, and the need for boots became apparent to me. (Plus, I real...

On the other hand, your kids will want to play in the snow once it’s finished falling, but they won’t be able to without the right equipment. You need to find a nice fitting, comfortable, warm, and most importantly cheap pair of snow boots. Trust the retailer you’r...
