Following on from where the K100D left off, the Pentax K100D Super digital reflex camera increases its capacities to meet the constantly changing needs of experienced users. The K100D Super retains the 6 mega pixel CDD sensor of its predecessor, but adds the very efficient "Shake Reduction" stabilization system, which uses a magnetic field to noticeably lessen the effects of blur in reduced stability conditions. With the electromagnets used in this system, precision is increased by up to 3 speeds, allowing for even clearer photographs. :Pentax has also kitted the K100D Super out with its solution against dust, preventing it from settling on the sensor and damaging your shots. This solution combines the Super Protect treatment of the low-frequency filter with the sensor vibration cleaning system, which is automatically started every time your device is turned on (this function can also be accessed at any time on the control panel). Among its other features, photographers will be pleased to find a large 2.5" LCD screen with a digital preview mode; a speedy 11-point auto focus; a high sensitivity of 3200 ISO; a host of useful scene modes and a battery life of up to 730 photos with one charge.
