Connect Photoshop CS3 Extended and Strata's 3D tools in ways you've never imagined. The Strata 3D Photoshop Plug-in includes three powerful tools: Match[in], Model[in], and Render[in] synchronized to Strata's award-winning Strata 3D CX application engine. Match[in] generates a matching camera view and a 3D grid that coincides with the vanishing point data. This allows you to match 3D objects to the perspective of a 2D photograph. This filter works in conjunction with Photoshop's Vanishing Point filter to merge synthetic objects with real-world scenes for photo-real results. Model[in] comes in two flavors: New and Edit. Each allows you to use Strata's extensive modeling tools to generate just the shape you're after. Model[in] New utilizes a backdrop image of your Photoshop document as a template for creating new objects. Model[in] Edit transfers the 3D model file from a Photoshop 3D layer into the Design 3D application for editing. Modeling tools available in both New and Edit include extrude, lathe, subdivision surfaces, and more. You can even import Adobe Illustrator outlines to loft into 3D objects. Render[in] starts with a 3D layer and allows you to generate photo-real images for integration into your Photoshop project. The filter can generate and return a single image layer or it can produce and return a multi-layer group. The Render to Layers functionality allows you to modify each aspect of your rendering.
