Mod Mom founder, Kiersten Hathcock, is a stay-at-home mom turned self-taught furniture designer & builder. After leaving the corporate world in 2003, to spend more time with her kids, Kiersten rekindled a passion for woodworking. Her father, a self-taught carpenter and woodworker, built most of her family's furniture growing up, and she learned from tinkering around in his garage workshop. Thirty-some years later, Kiersten works from her own workshop where she designs and produces her modern/mid-century inspired kids' furniture.The Bertie Box is a perfect storage option for the short set -- it's low tothe ground, on casters so it moves easily about the house , and puzzle piecetop makes putting toys away more fun!
