Description
Looking for a plant that will delight the senses--than gardenias are for you. My favorite variety is one called "First Love". Wonderfully fragrant, double white blooms are larger than any other gardenia. A superb evergreen accent shrub or container plant, it's the first gardenia to bloom and continues well into the growing season. Full to partial sun. Its a compact grower to about 5 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Prune lightly after bloom to maintain a nice tight form. Hardy to USDA zone 8
