This is the remote-controlled car kit that has brightly colored circuit connection components that allow a child to assemble their own vehicle without soldering, then take command of the rover and direct its movements with the included remote control. The circuit parts snap together simply and quickly, making it easy for young children to learn about how electrical systems work to power moving vehicles. Different command systems can be created using the circuits, so that a child can create a roving vehicle that follows a specific line on the floor (black electrical tape not included), a rover that will sense obstructions and change direction accordingly, or a car that navigates according to specific instructions input into a special keypad that comes with the kit. The car can also be commanded independently using the remote control like traditional remote-controlled vehicles. Instructions and circuit specifications included. Requires one 9V- and six AA batteries. Ages 8 and up. 5" H x 7" W x 14" L. (6 lbs.)
