The Navigator 6 Software from TomTomà ® provides smart and easy navigation on your Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and Mobile Phones. It features an intuitive and easy-to-use menu that gives you the perfect navigation experience and the extensive guided tour allows you to pick up features quickly. The software contains detailed maps of the whole of the United States, and all the Canadian provinces and territories. This allows you to search Points of Interest (PoI), such as Cafe, Parking Lot, Movie Theater and Gas Stations, by proximity to current location, on your route, near a specific city. Preview and test the proposed route before you start your trip and plan your route to fit your requirements by picking the quickest and shortest routes, and avoiding toll roads and congested areas. It provides a clear user interface with 2D and 3D graphics, nightview and 65,000 colors for optimal visibility. Its realistic visual instruction replicates road signs making them easier to follow and the pedestrian centric map lets you view your position using the special 2D map view which is fixed in one position and which can be zoomed in and out for better orientation when navigating on foot. The easy call handling feature keeps the on-screen instruction visible while making phone calls or receiving SMS messages, and you can also dial a PoI from the main menu.
