Description
This new hymnal is an ecumenical edition of the Church Hymnary, official hymnal of The Church of Scotland, published in 2005. It is a complete and comprehensive full music hymnal with 825 selections, including traditional and new music (hymnody and service music), plus global church music. The compiling committee was convened by the widely-traveled and well-known hymnodist John Bellwhose own music and texts are used throughout the world. Texts are accessible, are highly incarnational from a theological standpoint, and selected from numerous ecumenical sources.
