Description
Philippe Starck is building a house of ghosts. After the success of his Louis Ghost Armchair, Starck has now brought that same aesthetic daring to his Charles Ghost Counter Stool (2005). Another transparent monoblock in polycarbonate, the stool has a round seat pan from which the gently curving legs extend, recalling the fluid lines and the graceful profile of 19th-century chairs. Offering a comfortable perch, the Charles, like the Louis, can be used in nearly any environment, indoors or out. While the pair are virtually indestructible, they also require care as you unpack and store them.
