Vintage 50's Horrockses Polished Cotton New Look Circle Skirt Dress B38

Simple navy polished cotton allows the great late 40’s or early 50’s “New Look” fit and flare style shine though. Cap dolman sleeves with underarm gussets for ease of movement. V-neck with collar, button front with hook and eye at waist. The best part is the skirt which is attached at bodice. Huge 180 inch sweep circle skirt falls from 2 small hip pleats that give the skirt a folded look with poke pockets. I have shown this with a small crinoline (not included), but would look just as nice without as it was probably worn originally.
