Back in the late '70s/early '80s, Ze Records created a chaotic coherent universe with their releases, a refuge for many artists in the New York underground scene and the intense personalities within it. This was also the time of the Paradise Garage dance club, when Disco was still underground, producing the strangest, silliest, most colorful dance singles: an unlikely crossover of Disco inferno/No Wave Funk. Now 30 years later, Ze is proud to present B. Loves Ze, a unique collection of classics from their catalog curated by the legendary French designer, AgnŠs B.. Tracks by No Wave pioneers Teenage Jesus and the Jerks and James White sit alongside Paradise Garage staples by French Dlectro-Disco pioneers, Gar‡ons, sarcastic dramatic dance-queen, Lizzy Mercier Descloux and cosmopolitan machinegun-funksters, Was (Not Was). Other artists include: Arto/Neto, Lydia Lunch, Alan Vega, James Chance & The Contortions, Don Armando's 2nd Rhumba Band, Cristina and Caroline Loeb.
