Fashions in menswear vary from year to year but the basics remain the same, and this guide will cover the essentials of summer clothing for men. From tanks tops and Hawaiian shirts to shorts and sandals, it’s a season many men look forward to wearing more comfortable and casual clothing. Still, a polo shirt and a pair of lightweight slacks provide a still summer-friendly outfit when the board shorts and surfer t-shirt  just don’t cut it.

They are comfortable for long strolls and still give some protection to your toes and feet. Leather is the preferred material for sandals that you will be wearing often. Sandals made from synthetic materials will eventually become uncomfortable and will not last as long. Sport sandals are needed if you have a lot of adventures planned for the summer. Belts come in traditional leather, but also in summer styles that are woven or lightweight cotton and come in various colors. Even during the summer months men will wear watches but they may change to a more casual style made of rubber and one that is waterproof. Some men enjoy having a watch to wear every day and a sports watch to wear when they are out on an adventure. Sports watches usually come with extra programs such as a stop watch or timer.
